Soggy Paws is home to Ash & Ember, two Maine Coons. They live aboard between charters - and stay safely ashore while you're on board.
(They've reviewed the brochure and disagree strongly with this policy. Management has overruled them.)

How much does a private sailing charter in Lagos cost?
Half-day charters from €625, full day from €1,200.

Where does the charter depart from?
Marina de Lagos, Algarve — western Portugal.
Meet the crew at the marina shortly before departure and they'll bring you aboard.
What route does Soggy Paws sail?
West past Ponta da Piedade towards Praia da Luz and Burgau.
Sea stacks, caves and grottos, Praia Dona Ana and Praia do Camilo; a full day can carry on towards Sagres or the Alvor lagoon — the skipper shapes the route around wind and swell.
What's included in the price?
Everything — there are no hidden extras.
Skipper and crew, fuel, drinks (wine, beer and soft drinks), a charcuterie board, two stand-up paddleboards, snorkelling gear and a Bluetooth sound system.
How many guests can come aboard?
Up to 10 guests, plus two crew.
Soggy Paws is a 45ft Beneteau Oceanis with a teak deck, shaded cockpit, bow sun loungers and an electric drop-down swim platform.
Can we swim, snorkel or paddleboard?
Yes — every charter includes anchored swim stops.
Two stand-up paddleboards and snorkelling gear are on board; the skipper picks the calmest cove of the day.
Do we need any sailing experience?
None — the skipper and crew handle everything.
Soggy Paws is fully crewed, so your only job is to relax — swim, sunbathe and enjoy the coast while the sailing is done for you.
Are children welcome?
Yes, families are welcome aboard.
Children sail under adult supervision and life jackets are carried for all guests.

For special occasions we collaborate with Hayes & Paige, Lagos-based private chefs — bespoke multi-course menus served aboard at anchor. Please give us reasonable notice when booking so the menu can be planned and provisioned.
